I have had the opportunity to be seen by Dr. Anderson, Dr. Duncan and Dr. Christian. They are all very professional and caring. My cataract surgery was heaven sent. I went from wearing contacts and very bad vision to almost 20/20 without glasses. I trust my vision to them all. And the staff is great.

From the beginning to the end the staff, nurses, Anesthesiologist and Dr. Clinton Duncan were friendly and helpful in this surgical journey. Dr Duncan explained in great detail everything about the process and took time to answer all my questions. As unnerving for me to have this surgery they all gave me peace of mind and I felt reassured all would turn out well. With both eyes now done and in the process of healing, I can say that Dr. Clinton Duncan and all who work for him were GREAT 👍🤗.

Sierra CrawfordMay 5, 2025I’ve been a patient of Dr. Chad Anderson at Mountain Eye Institute in Cedar City, Utah, since I was two years old, and I can’t recommend him enough. As a child, I was terrified of doctors and eye exams, but Dr. Anderson made the experience comfortable and positive. Unlike my previous eye doctor, who suggested general anesthesia, Dr. Anderson worked with me patiently and even tried the exam without sedation, which made a huge difference. Throughout the years, he continued to go above and beyond to help me feel at ease. He would take off his lab coat to make me more comfortable and even check the eyes of my dolls or stuffed animals during exams to help me feel less scared. When I had my eyes dilated, he let me sit on my mom’s lap for extra comfort. These small gestures meant the world to me and made a huge impact on my trust in him. Now, as an adult, I still trust Dr. Anderson for all my eye care needs. His team at Mountain Eye Institute provides excellent, compassionate service, and I highly recommend them to anyone seeking top-notch eye care.

I enjoy the fact that everything is explained before or during testing and procedures. They always review any changes in medications, and they inquire about changes in daily activities plus environmental concerns. Even my husband (a former optician) has high regards for this office.

My husband got something stuck in his eye from not wearing sufficient eye protection at work. We called the office before opening hours, and we were able to get him in for a quick visit. They cleaned it out and helped him feel better in no time.

Carlene ArnoldMarch 22, 2019I have been wearing glasses since 8th grade so I know of that which I speak. Dr. Duncan cares for my husband's glaucoma and he has been a God send! Dr. Duncan helped with a botched cataract surgery that was done elsewhere. He also found that the eye drops prescribed by the prior doctor weren't effective because my husband was allergic to them! I can't say enough good about the folks at Mountain Eye Institute ~ except that I would recommend them to everyone I can!

The procedure was drastically better than what my father experienced some 50 years ago. Every step of the procedure was explained to me before and afterwards. 20 minutes or so later, I was out the door and on my way home. Yes ... modern medicine has made significant advances.

Frances DoddsMay 7, 2019My husband and I are both patients at Mountain Eye Institute. We have had nothing short of excellent treatment at the facility. The staff are very professional but friendly and the appointments are timely. A person does not not wait but a few minutes to be called back to see the Dr. Dr. Duncan has always taken great care of us and is very thorough with his examinations and the surgeries and procedures have always had the very best results. I would most definitely recommend thesis eye clinic for anyone and especially for anyone who wants the very best care and follow up for your eyes. I am a retired RN and have previously had laser surgery on my eyes. I have been to othe eye clinics and this one is the best in the entire area. We live in Hurricane, but prefe to travel to Cedar City for our eye Dr. As their clinic is much more professional, without the feeling of being treated like a “number” sent from room to room for different tests with different staff for testing on different eye equipment and having to wait in a full middle room with all the othe patients for a long time before your appointment as we did at a well known eye clinic in St. George. The eye surgery there at the St. George eye clinic was not a good experience for cataracts. The cataract surgery my husband had at Mountain View we so much better in many ways and I wish I would have had Dr. Duncan at Mountain View Eye Clinic instead of an eye clinic in St. George. We can not praise the Mountain View Eye Clinic enough, the Dr.s and staff are excellent!

Not only Dr. Duncan, who was extremely personable but also very straight forward which was great because I want to be informed completely. His upbeat attitude is very contagious. The staff eas very attentive and so helpful. Kathleen actually filled out my paperwork for me because of my eye injury. I never even asked for help. What a wonderful surprise. When I enter the facility, I entered through the eye glass center. I immediately had staff jumping up and asking how they could help and then proceeded to walk me to the correct area. I loved my experience. I walked in so scared, then walked out feeling confident that I was in great hands. Such a great and comforting feeling. Thank you so much.
